Donald "Hondo" Lloyd Metheny, Jr., 54, of New Carlisle, passed away on Wednesday, February 17, 2016 at his home.
Donald was born in La Porte, IN, on December 16, 1961 to Donald and Mary Louise (Stevens) Metheny.
Surviving are his mother, Mary Louise Metheny of New Carlisle; brother, Ronnie (Jeri) of La Porte; sister, Stephanie (Scott) Price of Bremen, IN; nieces and nephews, Brittany and Mitchell Price, Emily and Matthew Metheny.
He was preceded in death by his father, Donald Metheny, Sr; grandparents, Cora and Herald Metheny, and Elmer and Lillie Stevens.
Donald was a 1981 Graduate of La Porte High School and worked at American Rubber and Teledyne in La Porte. He liked to make jewelry, karaoke, fishing, and going for drives in his truck.
A cremation committal has taken place with Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center, La Porte.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at 3 PM (CST) on Sunday, February 21, 2016 at Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center with Pastor Carl Bush officiating. A time of visitation will be held from 11 AM (CST) until the time of service on Sunday at the funeral home.
