Donna Ellen Cohan of LaPorte passed away at the age of 73 on Friday May 17, 2013 at Fountainview Terrace in LaPorte. She was born on March 19, 1940 the daughter of Leo and Marie I. (Clark) Kessler. On October 26, 1968 she married Arthur B. Cohan at Tracy Immanuel Lutheran Church.
She is survived by her husband, Arthur B. Cohan of LaPorte; Daughters, Ann (James) Shaffer of LaPorte, Adele DePofi of Hartford, OH, and Amy Cohan of LaPorte, IN; a brother Randy (Carol) Kessler of LaPorte; grandchildren, Spenser. Mika, Grace, and Rebekah; Sister-in-laws, Arlene Cohan of LaPorte and Agnes Simmons of Valparaiso, IN. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Donna was a graduate of Kingsbury High School and South Bend Business College. She retired as a Title Searcher from South Park Title and was a dedicated homemaker. She was a member of Tracy Immanuel Lutheran Church where she served in the Ladies Aide and as Secretary for the Church Council.
A Celebration Of Life Service will be held at Cutler Funeral Home & Cremation Center on Wednesday May 22, 2013 at 10 AM with Pastor David Albertin officiating. Burial will follow at Tracy Cemetery.
Friends and family will be received from 4-7 PM on Tuesday May 21. 2013 at the funeral home and from 9-10AM prior to the service on Wednesday.
