Doris Louise Hall, age 78, of La Porte, passed away on August 3, 2014 at her home.
She was born in Holcomb, MO, on November 4, 1935 to Noah J. and Martha A. (Cooper) Sullivan.
On August 21, 1954 in La Porte, she married William Hall who survives. Also surviving are her beloved children, Rick A. Hall of Seminole, FL, Tonya K. Gross of Walkerton, IN; grandchildren, Caroline Hall, Hanna Hall, Madyson Gross, Dylan Gross; sisters, Melba Bettuo of Westville, Linda Johnson of La Porte, Paula Sullivan of Georgetown, KY, Jo (Virgil) Metcalf of Kingsford Heights; and brother, Ralph (Jeanette) Sullivan of Cookville, TN.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sons, Lenny H. Hall, and William (Greg) Hall; brothers, John L, Melvin Jackson, and Jerry Sullivan; and sister, Pat Sullivan.
Doris worked as past Matron at the La Porte County Sheriffs Office. She enjoyed her grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 10 AM, on Thursday, August 7, 2014 at Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center with Rev. Leonard Johnson officiating.
A time of visitation will be held from 4-8 PM on Wednesday, August 6, 2014 and also one hour prior to the service on Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will take place following the service at Rolling Prairie Cemetery.
