Doyal Arlo Holt

Doyal Arlo Holt, 79, of Rolling Prairie, passed away on Monday, August 13, 2018.

Doyal was born on July 9, 1939 in Red Rock, AR, to ArleyArlo and Sendie (Shattswell) Holt.

In 1959 in Kingsford Heights, IN, he married Carol Ann Avery who preceded him in death.  Surviving are his sons, Danny and David Holt of Rolling Prairie; grandchildren, Matthew (Tracy) Hamilin, Jessica (Ryan) Manns; great-grandchildren, Brianna and Mason Hamlin, Alyssa, Braiden and Carly Manns; siblings, Dee (Jerry) Holt of La Porte, Pam (Jerry) Salo of CA, Linda (Ken) Lee of CA, and Nadine Dunk of La Porte; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded by his parents; his wife, Carol Holt; and 2 brothers, Floyd Holt and Lew Holt.

Doyal worked as a saw mill operator at Kingsley Furniture for 49 years and then worked for his son, David, at Holts Mowing, Landscaping and Construction. His favorite past times included coon hunting and construction work.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 3 pm (CDT) on Monday, August 20, 2018 at Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center with Pastor Roger Ash officiating.  Burial will follow at Pine Lake Cemetery.

A time of visitation will be held from 6 - 8 pm (CDT) on Sunday, August 19, 2018 and from 2 pm (CDT) until the time of the service on Monday at the funeral home.
