Edna Mae Kotwa

Edna Mae Kotwa, 80, of La Porte, passed away on Thursday, March 14, 2019 at Fountainview Terrace La Porte.

Edna was born in South Bend, IN, on June 14, 1938 to William and Goldie (Flick) Kellems.

Surviving are her son, William (Bill) Hubner of La Porte; daughter, Lori Hawk of La Porte; her beloved grandchildren, Michelle Ashton, Michael Hubner, Lindsey Hawk, Megan (Tyler) Millington, Amanda (Johnny) Lemon, Angela Wingett, and Daniel Kabacinski, all of La Porte; great-grandchildren, Olivia Lemon, Kylee Hawk, Brielle Lemon, Nolan Ashton, Aleiya Morrison, and Jackson Millington, all of La Porte.

She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Ray Kellems, Bill Kellems, David Kellems, and Nova Flick; and her beloved son, Eddie Lee Hawk.

Edna enjoyed planting flowers, playing bingo, spending time with her lifelong friends. She loved going to church and shopping. Edna loved spending time with her grandchildren. She loved her family more than life itself.

Cremation has taken place with Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center, La Porte. Interment will take place at a later date in Kingsbury Cemetery.

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at  12:30 PM (CT) on Monday, March 18, 2019 at Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center.

A time of visitation will be held from 10 am (CT) until the time of the service on Monday at the funeral home.
