Edris Mae Stayback, 83 years old of La Porte, IN,and formerly of Rolling Prairie, IN, died Friday evening March 27, 2009 in LaPorte Hospital .
She was born September 7, 1925 in Hanna, Indiana, daughter of the late William Boniface and the late Augusta (Sacks) Boniface.
She was a member of First Christian Church of Rolling Prairie, IN, and God's Golden Warriors.
She worked at Modines, American Rubber Company and Ripco all of La Porte.
She Married July 28, 1948 in La Porte County to Clarence P. Stayback who preceded her in death July 1, 1981
Surviving are Daughter, Deb (Charles) Wiseman of Union Mills, Son: Aaron (Teresa) Stayback of Rolling Prairie, 2 Grandchildren; Sherman & Robert Wiseman, 6 Gt. Grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by 1 Sister; Emma Thomas, 5 Brothers; Howard, Milford, Charles, Carl & William Boniface.
Friends will be received at the Cutler Funeral Home from 3-7:00 PM Monday and Noon until 1:00 PM on Tuesday.
Services will be held 1:00 PM Tuesday, March 31, 2009 at Cutler Funeral Home with Rev. John Beehler officiating.
Interment will follow in the Rolling Prairie Cemetery.
