Eileen Goetz, 76, LaPorte, died of natural causes at 1:40 a.m. Thursday (Jan. 15, 2004) at her home.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Cutler Funeral Home, LaPorte, with the Rev. Deb Lampton officiating. Burial will be in Pine Lake Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 2 to 7 p.m. Sunday and from 9 a.m. until the service Monday at the funeral home.
She was born Aug. 31, 1927, in Michigan City, to Ray N. and Violet (Krueger) Chenoweth. On May 12, 1950, in Michigan City, she married Wayne Frederick Goetz, who died Oct. 4, 2002.
Survivors include three daughters, Cindee E. Goetz and Aimee L. (Reggie) Sanderson, both of LaPorte, and Cathee R. (Thomas) Malee, Helena, Mont.; one son, Douglas W. (Joanne) Goetz, LaPorte; 10 grandchildren, Michael, Bryce, Hannah, Bryan, Broderyk, Eilys, Bradyn, Katee, Luke and Molly; one sister-in-law, Joann Dillon, LaPorte; and two brothers-in-law, Thomas Goetz, North Fort Myers, Fla., and Howard Draves, LaPorte.
Mrs. Goetz worked at Hayes Corp. in Michigan City. She took great pride in being a wife, mother and grandmother. She also loved the Cubs and the outdoors.
