Eleanor De Naut, 90, Chevy Chase, formerly of Knox, Ind., died at 12:30 a.m. Monday (April 28, 2003) at Sibley Memorial Hospital, Washington, D.C.
The funeral is at 11 a.m. Monday at United Methodist Church, Knox, with the Rev. Leon D. Pomeroy officiating. Burial is in Crown Hill Cemetery, Knox. There is no visitation. Cutler Funeral Home, LaPorte, handled the arrangements.
Mrs. De Naut was born June 24, 1912, in Chicago to Erick and Anna (Galoon) Erickson. On Sept. 15, 1934, in Chicago, she married Dr. James F. De Naut, who died Sept. 18, 1984.
Survivors include one daughter, Jo Anne De Naut Powell, McLean, Va.; one son, James Eric De Naut, Flossmoor, Ill.; four grandchildren, Deborah Eleanor Motley, Katherine Benton Carroll, James Anthony De Naut and Eric Jonathan De Naut; and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one sister, Genevieve Patterson.
Mrs. De Naut was a member of United Methodist Church and the P.E.O.
