Elizabeth Marie (O'Banion) Moyer

Elizabeth Marie Moyer, 66, of La Porte, passed away on Monday, December 26, 2022 at Northwest Health - La Porte.

Elizabeth was born on November 30, 1956 in South Bend, IN, to Lawrence Matthew and Lulabell Catherine (Musary) O'Banion.

Elizabeth is survived by her children, Hazel (William "Happi") Ruskowsky of La Porte, Lee Joseph of La Porte, David Joseph of AZ, and Phillip (Adriana) Joseph of AZ; 15 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; siblings, Albert Beach of Muskegan, MI, Nora Kinas of South Bend, Margaret (Rick) Kinas of Mill Creek, Bob (Pat) O'Banion of La Porte, Terry O'Banion of Walkerton, Deloris VanDusen of Rolling Prairie, and Beatrice (Roger) Coleman of Mill Creek; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; granddaughter, Serenity Joseph; brother, Lawrence Matthew O'Banion; and sister, Verda Chapman.

Elizabeth was a homemaker.  She was a member of La Porte Assembly of God.

She loved riding motorcycles and playing music, particularly the guitar, with her family.  Elizabeth enjoyed playing darts and watching her son and grandchildren play sports.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, January 2, 2023 at Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center with Pastor Roger Coleman officiating.  Cremation will follow the service.

A time of visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service on Monday at the funeral home.
