Elizabeth Nightengale, 78, of Kingsford Heights, Indiana, died at 7:20 a.m. on Monday, August 22, 2005 at Fountainview Terrace Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.
A memorial service will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, September 10, at Cutler Funeral Home with Rev. Ted Nordquist officiating. There will be no visitation. Cremation has taken place.
Elizabeth was born June 5, 1927, in Crawfordsville, Indiana to Thomas & Georgia (McDaniel) Farrell. On August 22, 1948, she married Thomas Nightengale, who preceded her in death.
She is survived by son John (Debbie) Nightengale of Kingsford Heights, IN; daughter Karen Baker of LaPorte; sister Patricia Tyson of Lafayette, IN; grandchildren Noelle Baker, Jason Nightengale and Jennifer Saylor; and great-grandchildren Ian & Zoren Baker, and Kierston Clark.
Her parents and a brother, George Farrell, preceded her in death.
Elizabeth was a homemaker and she belonged to the LaPorte VFW Ladies Auxiliary.
