Emma Hilda Ramanauskas of Hazel Crest, IL passed away on Thursday May 16, 2013 at the age 84. she was born on April 1, 1929 in Julijanovo, Lithuanian the daughter of Adomas Haberzatas and Amalija Hermanas.

She is survived by three children, Norbert (Dorothy) Roman of Ocala, FL, Karen (Mike) Humphrey of Fort Meyers, FL, and Dagmar (Jeff) Mishler of Westville, IN; four grandchildren, Michele and Melissa Humphrey and Mathew and Kristopher Mishler; three sisters, Olga Zukauskas of Burbank, IL, Lydia Dulkys of Westville, IN and Erna Federavichs of Berwen, IL; one brother, Waldemar Haberzatas of Germany; two nieces, Liana Perok and Monica Simola. and two nephews Waldemar Zukauskas and Martin Haberzatas.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Jolanda Valentine Roman in 1980 and her parents.

Emma immigrated to the United States in the 1950's. She settled in Chicago and married Herbert Roman on May 4, 1953; he preceded her in death in 2012.

No public visitation or services are planned. A private family burial will take place at Pine Lake Cemetery in La Porte.
