Everett Ed Comeaux, Sr., 74, of LaPorte, Indiana, died at 9:40 p.m. on Sunday, November 14, 2004, at his home.
A memorial service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 17, 2004 at the Cutler Funeral Home with Rev. Carl Fitchett officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday from 6:00 p.m. until the time of services. Cremation has taken place.
Ed was born August 8, 1930 in Bastrop, Louisiana to Peter Tell & Frankie Louise (Chandler) Comeaux. On October 3, 1953, in LaPorte, he married Janice E. DeWolfe, who survives.
Also surviving are daughters Michelle, (Rick) Sheaffer of LaPorte, Melissa (Robert Jr.) Hubert of Las Vegas, NV and Megan (Randy) Ozdyck of Valparaiso, IN; son Everett ?Max? (Dee) Comeaux, Jr. of Kimberling, MO; grandchildren Matt, Niki, Zach, Sarah, Bobby and Logan; a great-grandchild, Arnica; and brother Bobby Gene Comeaux of Winsboro, LA.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers Louis R. & Kenneth D. Comeaux.
Ed was a retired truck driver, driving semis for Cam/Or in Westville, IN and retiring from Schneider Trucking Co.
He attended Trinity Lutheran Church and he loved his family and playing the guitar.
