Florence Goblisch

Florence "Flo" Denise Goblisch, 59, of La Porte, IN, passed away on Monday, December 16, 2024.

Flo was born on December 10, 1965, in Evergreen Park, IL, to Robert and Carol (Bennett) Goblisch.

In April 2020, at Creek Ridge County Park in Michigan City, she married Michael Mittler, who survives. Also surviving are her son, Robert E. Mittler of La Porte; 2 stepdaughters, Amanda Noa and Leah Benson; mother, Carol Ann Goblisch; 2 sisters, Deanne Smith and Rose Marie Smith; as well as many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Goblisch.

Flo graduated from Valparaiso University with a bachelor of science degree in social work. She enjoyed watching movies and creating handcrafted jewelry, as an expression of her creativity. Most importantly, Flo enjoyed spending time with her son and husband.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 4 p.m. on Saturday, December 28, 2024 at Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center. Cremation will take place after the service.

A time of visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of service on Saturday at the funeral home.
