Frances A. Landwer, 89, of La Porte, passed away on Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at Aperion Care Arbors at Michigan City.
Frances was born in La Porte County, IN, on September 2, 1928 to William and Amelia (Maerz) Schade.
On May 31, 1952 in La Porte, she married Robert J. Landwer who preceded her in death in 2011. Surviving are her beloved children, William (Kathy) Landwer of Valparaiso, IN, Susan (Keith) Casey of La Porte; and grandson, Kyle Casey.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Frederick Schade.
Frances enjoyed knitting, crocheting, and doing crafts. She also enjoyed traveling, feeding and watching the birds.
A time of visitation will be held from 4-7 PM on Monday, January 15, 2018 at Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center and a committal service by Pastor John Rumley will take place at 7 pm. Burial will take place privately at Pine Grove Cemetery.
