Frank Talesky, 63, LaPorte, died at 6:20 p.m. Thursday (May 22, 2003) at his home.
A memorial service will be at 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Maple City Square Apartments, 1204 Andrew Ave. Cutler Funeral Home handled arrangements.
He was born Nov. 18, 1939, in Chicago, to Frank S. and Josephine (Dombrosky) Talesky.
Survivors include his mother; three daughters, Dee Dee Talesky, Tara (Adam) Bridegroom and Tori Talesky; four sons, Frank Talesky, Mark (Kim) Talesky, Franklin Talesky and Joshua (Michelle) Talesky; 14 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; one aunt, Mary Wertin; several brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews; and special friends, Chuck Maslan and Becky McCarthy.
His father preceded him in death.
Mr. Talesky was an expert martial artist for most of his life, receiving his 10th degree later in his life. He also was involved with the Professional Karate Commission.
