Frank O. Wilber, age 70, of Girard, OH, passed away on March 26, 2016.
Frank was born in La Porte, IN, on January 13, 1946 to Albert G. and Dorothy (Cooper) Wilber.
Surviving are his beloved wife, Lydia; sons, David, Corey, and Carl Wilber; mother, Dorothy Wilber; three sisters, Mary (Virgil) Craft, Ruth (Bill) Stayback and Doreen Harmon; brother, David (Nancy) Wilber; brother-in-law, Dale Boerema and his pet cat, Baby. He was preceded in death by his father; sister, Betty L. Boerema, and brother-in-law, Sherman Harmon.
Frank was a proud Army Veteran having served in Vietnam for two years. He worked at Whirlpool for several years and drove a semi-truck for many years until he retired. Frank never knew a stranger, making a lot of friends wherever he went. He loved his close neighbors and friends as well as his special cat, Baby. He will be dearly missed by us all.
A cremation committal has taken place with Blackstone’s Funeral Home in Girard, OH.
A memorial gathering will be held from 2 – 3 pm (EST) on Saturday, April 9, 2016 at the Niles Kingdom Hall in Girard, OH.
