Gene Raymond Galloway, age 74, of La Porte, passed away on Monday, December 1, 2014 at Golden Living Center Fountainview in La Porte.
Gene was born in La Porte County on January 3, 1940 to Jesse and Ada (Stanage) Galloway.
Surviving are his beloved children, Lana (Kirt) David and Kevin (Davena) Galloway, both of La Porte; grandchildren, Hayden David, and Zachary, Stephen, and Lindsey Galloway; brother, Richard Galloway of La Porte; sisters, Mary Ingole of Granger, IN, and Nancy Bush of Wisconsin.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Carl, Jesse, Ed, Marion, Jack, Joe, Claude, and Chuck Galloway.
Gene owned and operated Galloway's Service in Westville for many years. He was a veteran of the US Army.
A private Celebration of Life service will be held at Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center. Burial will take place at Pine Lake Cemetery.
