George Frank Wiseman, 81, LaPorte, died of natural causes at 9:55 a.m. Friday (Jan. 23, 2004) at LaPorte Hospital.
The funeral will be at 4 p.m. Sunday at Cutler Funeral Home. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
He was born Feb. 1, 1922, in Beverly Shores, to William and Theresa (Koehler) Wiseman. On June 28, 1947, in Michigan City, he married Harriet Rumbaugh, who survives.
Survivors also include one grandson, Patrick (Janet) Wiseman, LaPorte; and one sister, Mabel Erickson, Berwyn, Ill.
Preceding Mr. Wiseman in death were one son, Robert J. Wiseman; two sisters, Helen Wiseman and Ruth Westphal; and one brother, William Wiseman.
Mr. Wiseman had farmed his own farm. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
