Georgia J. Galloway, 68 years old of LaPorte, IN, died Tuesday, April 24, 2012 in 1708 Hillcrest.
She was born on April 1, 1944 in Rolling Prairie, daughter of the late Dale and Amanda (Butts) Butler.
She was married on July 16, 1960 to Joseph Allen Galloway who preceded her in death.
Georgia enjoyed crafts, wood working and sewing.
Surviving are her daughters, Penny (Eric) Wolfenbarger of LaPorte, Stacy (Steve) Lawrence of LaPorte; 11 grandchildren; special granddaughter, Darcy Dalton of LaPorte; 16 great grandchildren; brothers, Louie (Marie) Butler of Holland, MI and Harold (Marty) Butler of Granger, IN.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Allen Galloway; daughter, Cindy Johnson; 1 grandson, Joseph Johnson;1 great granddaughter, Emily Jo Stratton; 3 sisters, Phyllis Johnson, Betty Churchill, Amber Butler; 2 brothers, Dale Butler and Carney Butler.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, April 28, 2012 at Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Service with Rev. Carl Galloway officiating.
A time of visitation will be held from 3-7 PM on Friday, April 27, 2012 and on Saturday from 9 AM until the time of service at Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Service. Burial will take place at 11:00 A.M. on Monday at Pine Lake Cemetery.
