Gerald Earl "Jerry" McCullough, 60 years old of Dallas,TX , formerly of Rolling Prairie, IN, died Wednesday, January 5, 2011 at his home in Dallas.
Jerry was born December 11, 1950 in Rensselaer, IN, the son of John McCullough and Pansy Armentrout. He was the youngest of 14 children.
He was married to Charlynn McCullough for twenty years
Jerry was self-employed in advertising for 35 years. He was Commander for 6 years of "Sons of American" Legion Post 169, New Buffalo, MI. He enjoyed many years bartending at the Rolling Prairie tavern and was a member of the Methodist Church in New Buffalo, Michigan. He loved being surrounded by his family and friends. He enjoyed many hours in the Garden with his oldest Grandson Jacob and many years coaching little league in New Buffalo, MI.
He is Survived by his 5 daughters: Jamie (Jason) Hopkins of Kingsford Heights; Stephanie McCullough of Fish Lake; Tiffani Elzinga of Grand Rapids, MI; Trina(Brandon)Ramirez of New Buffalo, MI; Tracie (Thomas) Davis of Manchester, TN; 10 grandchildren Jacob Topinka, Brad Walden, Jordan Topinka, Danny Konarski, Michelle Davis, Zachry Humes, Hailey Humes, Natalie Blumberg, Lily Elzinga, and Joseph Hopkins 4 Brothers Don McCullough, Dave McCullough, John McCullough, Bob McCullough, 5 Sisters Ruth Ludwig, Verda Slack,Wilma Bellis, Merle Risner, and Linda Hayman
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Pansy McCullough, Sisters Ivy Graves Brothers, Dale McCullough, Jim McCullough and Russell McCullough and his Granddaughter Abagail Hopkins
Friends will be received at the at the Cutler Funeral Home,from 9-11:00 AM Thursday , Jan. 13, 2011 with a Memorial Service at 11:00 with Pastor Jay Loucks officiating.
Interment will be in the Rolling Prairie Cemetery at a later time.
