Geraldine D. (Wisnieski) Wallen

Geraldine D. Wallen, 84, of Knox, passed away on Tuesday, July 17, 2018 at Golden Living Center Knox.

Geraldine was born in La Porte, IN, on August 1, 1933 to Carl and Sophia (Kominark) Wisnieski.

Surviving are her beloved children, Greg (Michelle Timar) Wallen of La Porte, Billy (Carrie Gott) Wallen of Michigan City, David (Sue) Wallen of La Porte, and Matt (Lisa) Wallen of La Porte; grandchildren, Jessica, Jennifer, Chelsea, Justin, Melissa, Michelle, Amber, Christina, Christopher, Steven, and Kendall; 17 great-grandchildren; brother, Wallace (Jo) Wisnieski; sisters, Toni Derover and Barbara Schoff; nieces and nephews, Carl, Renee, Janet, Laura, Nancy, Gail, and Heather.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Andy Wallen; and brother, Carl, Jr.

Geraldine loved to cook, flower garden, and spend time with her family.  She enjoyed bowling and won a state bowling tournament. She always had a joke.

A time of visitation will be held from 4-6 (CT) on Friday, July 20, 2018 at Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center.  Casual attire would be appreciated.
