H. James Beron, Jr., 58, of Union Mills, Indiana, died at 8:15 a.m. on Sunday, May 15, 2005 at LaPorte Hospital.
A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 18, at Tracy Cemetery, with Rev. Richard Henry officiating. There will be no visitation.
James was born March 1, 1947, in LaPorte, IN to Hilbert James & Opal J. (Williams) Beron, Sr. He was married to Susan Heusi, he then married Debra K. Miller. They both survive.
Survivors also include his mother of Union Mills; 5 children, April G. (Edward) Beamon of LaPorte, Brian J. (Laura) Beron of Lutz, FL, Todd M. Beron of Orlando, FL, Krista D. Beron of Hanover, NH and Kayla R. Beron of LaPorte; grandchildren Andrew, Nicholas, Matthew and Emaleigh Beamon and Rebeccah and Oliviah Beron; and sister Susan (Larry) Tobar of LaPorte.
His father preceded him in death.
James was a journeyman pipe fitter/plumber for Plumbers & Pipe Fitters Local #172.
He was a 1965 graduate of Union Twp. High School and a staff sergeant for the US Army Reserves during the Vietnam War. He was a member of St. Paul United Church of Christ of LaPorte, the Kingsford Heights Post #434 of the American Legion, the Terre Coupee Masonic Lodge #204 F. & A.M., and a 32nd Degree of the Scottish Rite of South Bend.
