Helen was the daughter of the late Harold & Frieda (Geuhne) Kruger.
She was married in 1941 to Elmer G. Pagel, who preceded her in death in 1967. In October of 1971, she married John Deutscher who also preceded her in death in July of 1991.
Helen retired from Howmet Corporation in 1983 as a quality control inspector.
She was a member of the Rolling Prairie VFW Post #9423 Auxiliary. She enjoyed dancing, vegetable gardening, playing euchre with family and friends, and pinochle every week with her sisters. For many years Helen spent the winter months at her home in Fort Meyers, FL.
