Helene Elizabeth Lichtblau, 92, of Westerville, Ohio and formerly of LaPorte, Indiana, died at 8:30 a.m. Monday August 23, 2004 at theVillage of Westerville Nursing Home.
A graveside service will be held at Pine Lake Cemetery at a later date. Cremation has taken place.
Mrs. Lichtblau was born February 19, 1912, in Einbeck, Germany to Wilhelm & Wilhemine (Domeyer) Rohmeier. She married Julius R. Lichtblau, who preceded her in death September 24, 1982.
Surviving is a daughter, Judy (Randall) Wollert, Westerville, OH; sons, Gerhard Lichtblau, Lexington, KY and Donald (Jan) Lichtblau, Englewood, FL; grandchildren, Kristin Davis and Marlene Wollert; great-grandchildren, Connor & Anna Elisabeth Davis; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
She was preceded in death by daughter-in-law, Darlene Lichtblau grandson, Kurt J. Lichtblau.
Mrs. Lichtblau had been a longtime member of St. John's Lutheran Church in LaPorte, had volunteered at the St. John's Thrift Shop and had been a member of the LaPorte Hospital Auxiliary. While residing in Westerville, she had attended Grace Lutheran Church and the Westerville Senior Center.
