Henry Kulasa, age 90, of Rolling Prairie, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving family on June 20, 2014.
Henry was born on November 10, 1923 in East Chicago, IN to the late Walter J. and Mary A. (Piszac) Kulasa.
On July 15, 1950 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in La Porte, he married Donna Mae (Corson) Kulasa who preceded him in death on August 14, 2013. Surviving are his beloved children; sons, Walter (Vicki Murdock) Kulasa of Grand Ledge, MI, Michael (Wendy Blair) Kulasa of Rolling Prairie; daughter, LaDonna (Steve) Nagy of New Carlisle; two granddaughters, Rachel (David) Ruddock of Okemos, MI, and Natalie (Chris Channell) Kulasa of Waterford, MI; his dog, CoCo; and many other loving family members and friends.
Henry was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Antoinette Bolsega; brothers, Paul Kulasa, Carl Kulasa, and Michael Kulasa.
Henry was a WWII Veteran. He was a member of the VFW Post 9423, a proud member of the AMVETS Post 911, the La Porte Falcon's, and the Rolling Prairie Conservation Club.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 6 PM on Friday, June 27, 2014 at Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center with full military honors. A time of visitation will be from 2 PM until the time of the service on Friday at the funeral home. A cremation committall will take place following the service. Burial will be held at 10 AM, Saturday, June 28, 2014 at Rolling Prairie Cemetery.
