Howard Baker, 77, of LaPorte, Indiana, died at 3:15 a.m. on Saturday, May 28, 2005 at LaPorte Hospital.
A private family graveside service will be held at Rolling Prairie Cemetery. Cutler Funeral Home assisted the family with the arrangements.
Howard was born March 5, 1928 in LaPorte to the late Charles & Edna (George) Baker. On October 5, 1946, in Rolling Prairie, IN, he married Gladys Gourley, who survives.
Also surviving is daughter Nicola Baker of LaPorte and several nieces and nephews.
Howard had retired from Wrights Chevrolet in Michigan City, Indiana in 1990.
