Imagene Jean Rodgers Bowen, 73, Fish Lake, died at 5:30 a.m. Sunday (Oct. 12, 2003) at her home.
The funeral is at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Cutler Funeral Home, LaPorte, with the Rev. Dee Miller officiating. Visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and 9 to 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Bowen was born Sept. 3, 1930, in Bay, Ark., to John and Ava (Bandy) Rodgers Sr. On June 4, 1966, she married James L. Bowen, who survives.
Also surviving are two daughters, Deborah Kelly, Indianapolis, and Holly Bowen, Michigan City; one son, Tim Bowen, Michigan City; eight grandchildren; six sisters, Mary Ann Parsley, Nokomis, Fla., Patsy Rogers, Michigan City, Bonnie Wellinski, LaPorte, Donna Schuh, Mountain Home, Ark., Willabelle Larson, Oregon, and Carolyn Ophoff, Arizona; three brother, William Rodgers, Kansas, Orise Dean Rodgers, Texas, and John Rodgers, Oregon.
She was preceded in death by one sister, LaVerne Crain, and one son, Michael Ishmael.
Mrs. Bowen was a homemaker and member of the Fish Lake Love Club and Fish Lake Conservation Club.
