Irene "Renee" Zych, age 87 of LaPorte, IN, passed away at 8:41 AM on Wednesday, July 4, 2012 at Golden Living Center Fountainview, LaPorte.
She was born January 18, 1925 in East Chicago, IN.
Surviving are her daughters, Terre Maximena of Michigan City, and Patty Sanders of Portage, IN; grandchildren, Chris (Renee) Maximena, Stefanie (Joe) Tipton, and Tiffany Sanders; great granddaughter, Savannah Maximena.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Ann Thomas, and husbands, Edward Sanders and Theodore "Teddy" Zych.
Friends will be received at the Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center, LaPorte, on Friday, July 6, 2012 from 7-8:30 PM.
A Celebration of Life Graveside Service will be held 11 AM, Saturday, July 7, 2012 at Elmwood Cemetery, Hammond, IN.
Interment will follow at Elmwood Cemetery, Hammond.
