Irma Fay Flagg, 80, passed away on October 11, 2010 in LaPorte, Indiana, after a long courageous battle with Congestive Heart Failure.

A longtime resident of LaPorte, she was born November 6, 1929 in Harpster, Ohio, to Amel and Mae (Sheppard) Wells. She married the late Michael Kovalcin, who preceded her in death, then she married Milo Flagg on September 2, 1967, who preceded her in death in 1993. She had worked at Kingsbury Ordinance Plant, American Rubber Products, Ripco, T.P. Orthodontics, Levine's Department Store.

Beloved mother of one son, Michael E. (Tracie) Flagg, of Lafayette, IN., four daughters, Lynn (Pete) Simons, Rockford, Michigan; Rita (Bob Mock) Walden, of Hawthorne, Wisconsin, Tina (Steve) England and Tammy (Tom Kouttoulas) Bailey, both of LaPorte, IN. Adored grandmother of Aaron (Tania) Flagg, Ashlie(Steve) Flagg, Kelly Simons, Jim Simons, Julie (Dasim) Mehmedovich, Christina and Kara Walden, Jason (Jennifer) Reed, Justin (Danielle) Rosetto, Allison (Jerry) Simpson, Kelly (Andrew Salzer) Bailey and Dylan Bailey. There are also 14 great grandchildren.

She is survived by a brother, Carl Dean (Beverly) Wells, of Knox, IN, one sister, Ruth Lucas, of Glenview, IL, several nieces and nephews, daughter-in-law, Cindy (Joe) Beckman of New Buffalo, Michigan. She is also survived by her longtime friends, Nancy Jones and Ina Sturgill.

She was preceded in death by her parents, granddaughter, Amber Flagg, son, Michael K. Flagg; brother, Clay Wells; husband, Milo Flagg; special companion, Bernie Good.

A Funeral Service will be conducted on Friday, October 15, 2010 at 10:00 A.M. at Cutler Funeral Home in LaPorte, IN. There will be a time of visitation at the Funeral Home from 4-7 P.M. on Thursday, October 14, 2010 and also from 9 A.M. until the time of service on Friday. Burial will follow in Patton Cemetery in LaPorte, IN.

Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or LaPorte Missionary Church.
