Isaac C. Bruton, age 73 of La Porte, IN passed away on Saturday, April 2, 2016 at La Porte Hospital with his loving family by his side. He was born on October 21, 1942 in Holcomb, MO to William Walter Alphonzo and Edna (Lawson) Bruton.
Isaac is survived by his loving wife, Linda of La Porte; daughter, Tia (Jeff) McCarty of La Porte; granddaughter, Hannah McCarty of La Porte; grandson, Parker McCarty of La Porte; brother, Larry (Louise) Bruton of Wappapello, MO; sister, Reba (Justin) McMillian of Jeffersonville, IN; and many other loving family members and friends.
Mr. Bruton was a life time member of Christ Gospel Church of La Porte, IN. He loved baseball and was a diehard St. Louis Cardinals fan. He enjoyed listening to gospel music. Mr. Bruton’s greatest joys came from spending time and playing with his two grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Bruton was preceded in death by his daughter, Larisa Lashell Bruton; 2 brothers, William and Tony Bruton; 3 sisters, Norma Rainey, Glada Mikel, and Mary Ollinger.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Christ Gospel Church of La Porte, 1539 South State Road 39 La Porte, IN 46350 on Wednesday, April 6, 2016 at 1 PM (CST). Pastor Ricky Bray will officiate. Burial will take place in Missouri.
A time of visitation will be held from 11 am on Wednesday, April 6, 2016 until the time of service at the church.
