Isaiah Michael Hartz , age 19, of La Porte, passed away on Sunday, July 5, 2015 at IU Health La Porte Hospital.
Isaiah was born on February 17, 1996 in Michigan City, Indiana to Kwasi U. Norwood and Angelique "Angel" Hartz.
He is survived by his parents; grandparents, Dyana (Ron) Kinsey and John (Diann) Hartz all of La Porte, IN, and Patricia Orzech of Michigan City, IN; great-grandmother, Mary Mitchell of Michigan City, IN; four siblings; and many aunts and uncles, including a special aunt, Amy Hartz of La Porte, IN.
He was preceded in death by grandparents, Henry and Luella Norwood, and all of his great-grandparents.
Isaiah graduated from La Porte High School in 2014. He played football and enjoyed sports, cooking, and going to church.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Friday July 10, 2015 at 11 AM at Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 2900 Monroe Street, La Porte, IN 46350. Pastor Sandy Tarr will officiate.
A time of visitation will be held from 5-9 PM on Thursday July 9, 2015 and from 10 AM until the time of service on Friday at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to the family c/o Angel Hartz, 2900 Monroe St., La Porte, IN 46350.
A cremation committal will take place with Cutler Funeral Home & Cremation Center following the services. Burial will take place at a later date in Patton Cemetery in La Porte, IN.
