Jack Lindsey, 72, of Kingsford Heights, Indiana, died at 1:20 a.m. on Tuesday, December 28, 2004 at Countryside Place Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.
A memorial service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 30, at the Cutler Funeral Home with Pastor Paul Coldiron officiating. Cremation has taken place.
Jack was born January 4, 1932, in Moulton, Alabama to Carlie & Bessie (Motes) Lindsey. On June 15, 1951, he married Bessie Moore, who preceded him in death in 1995.
Survivors include daughters Norma (Greg) Bowers of Savannah, GA, Sandra (Norman) Craig of Stillwell, IN, Sara (Chuck) Towle, Laura (Steve) Meyers and Martha (Mike) Harlow, all of LaPorte, IN; 14 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; 3 sisters, Helen, Bama and Tot; and brothers, Edward & Sam Lindsey.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Trannie.
Jack had worked for Teledyne Casting Service. He was a member of the New Hope Missionary Baptist Church in Michigan City and he loved fishing, drinking coffee and smoking.
