Jack L. Rosenbaum, 87 years old of La Porte, IN, passed away Sunday April 4, 2010 in his home
He was born May 30, 1922 in Knox, Indiana, Son of the late William and Grace (Good) Rosenbaum.
Jack was married on June 1, 1943 in Hammond, IN to Irene Cable for 66 years.
He was a member of Salem United Methodist Church where he was involved in many church activities, US Army Veteran of WWII, Fish Lake American Legion Post #400, Volunteered at LaPorte Co. Fair at the Salem Chapel Church Building for many years, he loved his family and enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening playing cards with his family and watching his grandchildren compete in sports.
He worked at Whirlpool Corporation in La Porte for 33 years retiring in 1985.
Surviving are his wife, Irene, Son; Ron (Sheryl) Rosenbaum of LaPorte, IN., Dtr.-In-Law; Christine G. Rosenbaum of La Porte, five grandchildren; Kyle., Katelin., and Kassidy. Rosenbaum, and Bryan & Steven Clark, special niece and nephew; Linda and Jimmie Jackson.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his son; Jack F. Rosenbaum on June 23, 2004. sis; June Tramm and a bro; William.
Friends will be received at the at the Cutler Funeral Home from 11:00 AM-1:00 PM on Wednesday Apr. 7, 2010 with a Service at 1:00 PM with Rev. Robert Raschka officiating, burial will follow in the Salem Cemetery in La Porte with full military honors.
