Jake Edward Eason, 21, of La Porte, passed away on Tuesday, December 12, 2017 as the result of a car accident.
Jake was born in Fort Worth, TX, on March 3, 1996 to John and Amy (Ogle) Eason.
Surviving are his parents, John and Amy Eason of La Porte; sister, Mara Eason of La Porte; brother, Zachary Eason of La Porte; grandparents, Randy and Gaye Ogle of La Porte, Barbara Eason of McKinney, TX, and Fred Bowman of Harlington, TX; uncles, Bruce Ogle of Chicago, Brian Eason of Dallas, TX, and Rodney Ogle of La Porte; aunt, Linda Welcher of Orlando, FL.
He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, James Eason and Fred Bowman, Sr.
Jake was a student at IU South Bend.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11 AM (CST) on Monday, December 18, 2017 at Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center with Pastor Jonathon Rose officiating.
A time of visitation will be held from 2:00 pm - 8:00 pm (CST) on Sunday, December 17, 2017 at Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center and from 10 AM on Monday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
