James Gordon, 91, of 2946 E. US 6 & 35, Hamlet, Indiana, died at 11:20 a.m. on Tuesday, December, 20, 2005 at Countryside Place Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 22, at Cutler Funeral Home with Pastor Dorothy Jones officiating. Visitation will be on Thursday from 11:00 am. until the time of the service. Burial will be in Kingsbury Cemetery.
James was born December 20, 1914, in Lebanon, New Hampshire to Alfred and Lea Pearl (Regis) Gordon. On April 20, 1946, in LaPorte, Indiana, he married Louise Hayter, who survives.
Survivors also include son James R. Gordon of South Bend, IN and niece Jean Hayter of Bronx, NY.
James had worked for 26½ years at Gary Budd Company, retiring in 1982. He was an avid jogger, billiard player and fisherman.
