James "Jim" Edward Mahlman, 70 years old of Walkerton, IN, died Sunday, May 24, 2009 surrounded by his loving family.
He was born February 21, 1939 in Hastings, Nebraska, son of the late Edward & Bertha (McDaniel) Mahlman.
He was a member of the Elks Club, he served in the U.S. Army Reserve, he loved his grandkids and took an interest in everything they did.
He retired from Walmart. He then became a Starter at Swan Lake Golf Course, the job he really loved.
Jim was married October 18, 1963 in Midwest City, OK to Donna Owens who survives.
Surviving are three children; Traci J.(Jim) Cantrell of Osceola, IN, Blake Edward Mahlman of Norman, OK, and Terri (Louie) Kuzdas of Walkerton, 8 grandchildren; Madeline, Isabella, Jack,and Olivia Cantrell, Aaron, Tyler, Keegan, and Caleb Kuzdas.
He was preceded in death by His parents, Sister: Pat Nelson, and Daughter: Tana Michelle Mahlman.
Services will be held at Cutler Funeral Home at 7:00 P.M. Friday, May 29, 2009 with Rev. Alex Stone officiating.
Friends will be recieved from 3:00-7:00 P.M. on Friday, May 29 at the Cutler Funeral Home with a military flag presentation to follow.
