James W. Tyburski, 63 years old of LaPorte, IN, passed away Friday, May 12, 2011 at his home.
He was born on February 21, 1948 in East Chicago, Indiana, son of the late Walter and Lucille (Noworyta)Tyburski.
He was married to Susan Jaron and then was married on August 3, 1999 in Gatlinburg, TN, to Joyce Staszewski who survives.
He worked at Inland Steel then he worked as a Production Scheduler for I/N TEK & I/N KOTE for over 30 years combined. He also taught business at LaPorte High School for 5 years. He attended St. Bonaventure High School in Sturtevant, WI. and received a B.S. Degree from Purdue University.
He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Inland Ski Club and he was an avid golfer. He also enjoyed camping, running and cycling.
Surviving are his wife, Joyce Staszewski; sons, Michael (Amanda) Tyburski, Brett (Katie) Tyburski; grandchildren, Drake Walter Tyburski, Owen James Tyburski and Max Basset; brother, Tom (Lynn) Tyburski; sister, Maryann (Rich) Kincaid; mother-in-law, Selma Staszewski and father-in-law, Hilary J. Staszewski.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
There will be a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 A.M. on Tuesday, May 17, 2011 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Rev. Ian Williams officiating.
There will be a time of visitation on Monday, May 16, 2011 from 2:00 to 7:00 P.M.at Cutler Funeral Home with a Prayer Service being held at 4 P.M. Visitation will also be held from 8:30 to 9:30 A.M. on Tuesday, May 17, 2011 at the Funeral Home.
Interment will follow in the Pine Lake Cemetery, LaPorte, IN.
