James "Jim" Albertson

James "Jim" A. Albertson, 50, of Rolling Prairie, passed away on Friday, June 12, 2020.

Jim was born in La Porte, IN, on December 4, 1969 to Robert and Patricia (Humphrey) Brewer.

Surviving Jim are his sons, Daniel (Charlee) Albertson of La Porte and Justin (Segen) Albertson of Roswell, NM; mother, Patricia Brewer of Westville; 6 grandchildren, Hailey, Jayden, and Layelle Albertson, Bailie Albertson, and Denice and Anabelle Hansen; significant other, Raeann Alexander of Rolling Prairie; stepchildren, Thereasa (Tito) Alexander, and Brandon Alexander, all of Rolling Prairie; step-grandchildren, Taven Alexander, Alizay Martiniez and Joseph Zavala; sister, Bridget Vogel; brother-in-law, Brad Biege; 10 nieces and nephews, Adam Albertson, Zack Albertson, Samantha Albertson, Kyle Albertson, Brittany Albertson, Bradley Albertson, Erin Albertson, Brittany Vogel, Jake Vogel and Caleb Vogel; step-nephew, Colin Biege; and great nieces and great nephews, Coraline Beach, Eris Albertson, Luna Albertson, Olivia Albertson, Kyndall Albertson, Kase Albertson, Baylee Mintchell, and Mya Stark.

Jim was preceded in death by his father; brothers, Robert Albertson, Jr. and Paul Albertson; step-father, Jim Brewer; grandfathers, George Humphrey and Charles Albertson; and grandmothers, Colleen Humphrey and Betty Albertson.

Jim was a machinist.  He enjoyed fishing and being outdoors.  Most importantly, Jim loved his grandchildren.

Cremation has taken place with Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center, La Porte.

A time of visitation will be held from 2 - 4 p.m. on Thursday, June 18, 2020 at Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center.
