Janice Marie (Brown) Cripe

Janice Marie Cripe, 63, passed away on Thursday, November 7, 2019 at her home.

Janice was born on January 28, 1956 in Michigan City, IN to Colleen (Sydow) Miller.

On July 29, 1972 in Michigan City, IN, she married Mark R. Cripe who preceded her in death on June 1, 2010.  Surviving are her 3 daughters, Tracy (Billy) Davis of La Porte, Amber (Chuck) Good of Grovertown and Penny (David Stacy) Cripe of Rolling Prairie; 9 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; mother, Colleen Miller of La Porte; siblings, Larry (Julie) Brown of New Carlisle, Patty (Dell) Gring of Fish Lake and Marion (Brian) McCrory of Spring, TX; as well as many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband; grandson, Cody Cripe; and nephew, Brian "Bri Bri" McCrory.

Janice worked as a dealer for the casino.  She enjoyed crocheting, sewing, playing the lottery, eating chocolate and especially spending time with her family.

Cremation has taken place with Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center, La Porte.

The family will be hosting a Celebration of Life Memorial Service at Michigan City Christian Church, 11232 W Earl Road, Michigan City, IN 46360 on November 25, 2019 at 2pm with Rev. Kim Cole officiating.
