Janice Colleen Gray, age 67, of La Porte, passed away on Thursday, January 30, 2014 at her home.
On July 28, 1946, she was born in Indianapolis, IN to John and Lois Irene (Herbert) Gray.
Janice is survived by her sons, Darren (Jan) Boyd of Michigan City, Kevin Boyd of La Porte, Brian (Danielle) Boyd of Michigan City, and John Cowgill of Valparaiso; her daughter, Irene (Scott) Hay; and grandchildren, Dustin Boyd, Arley Boyd, Harper Boyd, Alan Hay, Nick Boyd, Faith Hay, and Noah Mahoney.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, John W. Gray.
Janice worked as a home health nurse. She was a fifty year member of Eastern Star. She enjoyed watching the Cubs, football, and hockey, as well as spending time with her friends, family and grandchildren. She also enjoyed swimming and jumping on the trampoline with the kids and dogs.
A Cremation committal has taken place with Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center. A private family Celebration of Life service has been held.
