Jason Crum

Jason Scott Crum, 43, of La Porte, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, January 22, 2025, at his home.

Jason was born on March 7, 1981, in La Porte, IN, to Billy Crum, Sr. and Brenda (Rogers) Holt.

Surviving are his sons, Nicholas Crum of La Porte, Andrew Crum of La Porte, and Owen Crum of Japan; mother, Brenda Rogers Holt; father, Billy Crum Sr. of South Carolina; brothers, Billy Crum, Jr. of Stevensville, Michigan and Phillip Rogers Mann of North Carolina; nieces, Jadea Crum and Brooke Rogers Mann; nephews, Ryland Rhodes and Landen Rhodes; great-niece, Keh'lani Crum; and his pit bull, Gia.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Hershal (Faye) Mantooth and maternal grandmother, Dolores C. Rogers.

Jason worked for a telecommunications company as a subcontractor and directional drill operator. He was very mechanically inclined. Jason enjoyed riding his motorcycle and singing karaoke.

Cremation has taken place with Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center, La Porte.

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, January 28, 2025 at Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center with Pastor Brandon Martin officiating.

A time of visitation will be held from 4 p.m. until the time of service on Tuesday at the funeral home.
