John A Smith

John Albert Smith, 72, passed away on Friday, April 12, 2019 at Golden Living Center.

John was born on December 2, 1946 in La Porte, IN, to Wilbert and CoraMae (McGee) Smith.

On May 6, 1967 in La Porte, he married Pamela Peterson who survives.  Also surviving are his beloved sons, Jason Smith of La Porte, Adam (Stephanie) Smith of La Porte, Christopher Smith of Trail Creek, and Eric Smith of La Porte; and one grandson, Jay Smith of La Porte.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, William "Bill" B. Smith.

John was an US Army Veteran.  He worked as a laborer.  He enjoyed restoring old cars, sports, fishing, bicycling, and vacationing.

Cremation has taken place with Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center, La Porte.  No services are scheduled at this time.
