John J. Hagen, 65, died at 9:00 a.m. Monday May 31, 2004 at his home.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 5, at the Cutler Funeral Home, LaPorte. The service will be conducted by the Lincoln Township Volunteer Fire Department. Military rites will also be conducted at the funeral home. Cremation has taken place and burial will be in the Pine Lake Cemetery at a later date.
Mr. Hagen was born on February 8, 1939, in Chicago, IL to John J. & Doris (Slattery) Hagen.
He is survived by special caregivers, Janice & Donald Williamson, Fish Lake; 4 nephews, Chad, Chaylon, Joshua and Ryan Williamson; niece, Adrienne Binversie; great-nephew, Gage Binversie; and great-niece, Katy Williamson.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister.
Mr. Hagen had worked at Polygon in Walkerton. He had been a Marine during the Vietnam Conflict. He was a former member and officer of American Legion Post #400 and the 40 & 8. He had also been a volunteer of the Lincoln Township Volunteer Fire Department for 15+ years.
