John H. "Jack" Utley, III, age 61, of Michigan City, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 9, 2015 in Valparaiso.
John was born in West Point, NY, on January 16, 1954 to John H. "Jack" Utley, Jr. and Dorothy B. "Dottie" Utley.
Surviving are his sister, Anne U. "Annie" (Ed) French of Fort Myers, FL, and his nephew, Trevor J. McWhirter of San Francisco, CA. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, John H. and Mildred Utley; mother; father; and his beloved dog, Wee Willie.
Jack graduated from Elston High School in 1972. He was known throughout NW Indiana by rock and roll radio fans as " Happy Jack" on his Saturday Night Fish Fry program on WIMS radio.
A cremation committal will take place with Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center.
