Johnnie Danielle Jones, age 28, of La Porte, passed away on Sunday, February 9, 2014 at IU Health La Porte Hospital.
She was born in La Porte on September 23, 1985. Johnnie is a beautiful and loving mother. Her children are the light of her life. Her beautiful smile lights up any room she enters. She has an amazing voice and loves karaoke. She enjoys getting together for all family functions (that included food).
Surviving are her beloved children, Camrin and Caylin Van Schoyck; mother, Kristine (Michael) Snyder of Hamlet; father, Russell (Tracy Schultz) Jones of La Porte; sisters, Melissa Jones of La Porte, Nicole (Allen) Santana, Nikki Schultz, and Rikki Schultz; brothers, Jeff Snyder, Matthew Snyder, Jon Snyder, and Adam Snyder; grandmothers, Patricia (Lester) Lindsley of La Porte and Leona (Ralph) Harmon of Kingsbury; grandfather, Clark Martin of Robinson, IL; great-grandmother, Burdetta McClaran of La Porte; aunts and uncles, Scott and Rhonda Lain of La Porte, Johnnie (Terry) Bunch of Naples, FL, and Robby Martin of La Porte; cousins, Brandi (Chris Hanske) Lain, Johnathon (Ellen Petit) Lain, Amanda (Jason) Coldiron, and Amber Dietz; as well as twenty-three nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Russell Jones.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11 AM on Thursday, February 13, 2014 at Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center. A meal will be held following the service at the American Legion Post #83, 228 E. Lincolnway, La Porte.
A time of visitation will be held from 4 - 8 PM on Wednesday, February 12, 2014 and from 9 - 11 AM on Thursday prior to the service at the funeral home.
