Joseph DeLaurentis, 54, of Rolling Prairie, Indiana died at 11:04 a.m. on Friday, June 23, at LaPorte Hospital.
A funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Monday, June 26, at Cutler Funeral Home with Rev. Paul Smith officiating. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 2:00-8:00 p.m. and on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, Mill Creek.
Joseph was born May 25, 1952, in Chicago, Illinois to Patrick & Carmella (Vece) DeLaurentis. He was married for 26 years to Joyce DeLaurentis, who survives.
Also surviving are daughters Dena (Rob) Leinen of South Bend, IN and Leah DeLaurentis of Georgia; son Jason DeLaurentis of Chicago; sisters Patty (Cy) Quinlan and Sharon (Joe) Ahmann, both of Illinois; and his mother Carmella of Illinois.
His father preceded him in death.
Joseph had been an automobile appraiser for 31 years. He was an avid fisherman and will always be remembered for his smile and sense of humor.
