Joshua "Josh" Gerald J. Martinez, 18 years old of LaPorte, Indiana, died at 7:27 PM, Saturday, November 6, 2010 at LaPorte Hospital.
He was born July 6, 1992 in LaPorte, Son of Lisa Blankenship Martinez and John "Juan" Martinez III.
Josh loved listening to and writing music. He also enjoyed sports. He enjoyed being with his friends, he was very loyal to them all. The same as he was with his family.
Surviving are his Mother, Lisa Martinez of LaPorte; Father, John Martinez III of Mishawaka; Sisters and Brothers, Jessica Blankenship of LaPorte, Gloria Nicole Martinez of LaPorte, Dakota Jean Dillon of Mishawaka, Braxton N.S. Dillon of Mishawaka, Levi J. B. Dillon of Mishawaka and Monica Wellinski of LaPorte; Grandmother, Gloria Roman Martinez of South Bend; Grandfather, Juan Martinez, Jr. of South Bend; Grandparents, Frank and Anna Owens of Logan, West Virginia; Grandfather, Gerald Bollman of Hamlet; and his Grandmother Connie Mills. Josh was loved by Little Angel, Ronald JR. and Analysia, 2 Nephews and 1 Niece, and many Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.
He was preceded in death by his Grandmother, Betty Bollman; Great Grandmother, Myrtle Barden; and Cousin, Eric Blankenship II.
No farewell words were spoken, No time to say goodbye, You were gone before we knew it and only God knows why.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at 5:00 P.M. on Wednesday, November 10, 2010 at Cutler Funeral Home, LaPorte, IN. There will be a time of visitation from 2:00 - 5:00 P.M. on Wednesday at Cutler Funeral Home.
