JJuanita Kreidler, 86, of Michigan City, passed away on Wednesday, October 19, 2016 at The Arbors in Michigan City.

Juanita was born in Topanga Canyon, CA, on October 7, 1930 to Alva Norman and Lucille Marie (Trent) Northam.

On November 11, 1949 in La Porte, she married Harry M. Kreidler who preceded her in death.

Surviving are her sister Gwen Smith of Newburg Park, CA; beloved children, Jeff Kreidler of Michigan City, Greg Kreidler of La Porte, and Kim Kreidler of West Lafayette; grandchildren, Keegan Smith and Sammie Thonn of Lafayette.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, and three sisters.

Juanita graduated from Purdue University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting. She was co-owner of North Side Pharmacy in La Porte. Juanita was an avid sailor, a member of Power Squadron, Michigan City Yacht Club, Lady Elks, Service League, and Eastern Star. She loved art, and was a self taught artist.

A cremation committal has taken place with Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center, La Porte.

A Celebration of Life Memorial Gathering will be held from 3-6 PM on Sunday, December 4, 2016 at Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 2900 Monroe St, La Porte, IN 46350.

Memorial contributions may be directed to the Michigan City Yacht Club Junior Sail Program, 12 1/2 on The Lake, Michigan City, IN 46360 or the Columbia Yacht Club Junior Sail Camp, 111 N. Lake Shore Drive, Chicago, IL 60601.
