Juanita Gail Reeg, 81, of West Palm Beach, Florida and formerly of LaPorte, IN, died at 8:44 p.m. on Monday, October 4, 2004 at the Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, October 11, 2004 at the Cutler Funeral Home in LaPorte. Visitation will be held on Monday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of services. Burial will be in Patton Cemetery.
Mrs. Reeg was born on December 11, 1922 in LaPorte to Edward & Minnie (Dearman) Fulford. On June 8, 1946, in LaPorte, she married Norman M. Reeg, who preceded her in death on April 7, 1994.
Survivors include daughters, Dawn (Greg) Reynolds of West Palm Beach, FL and Robin Reeg of Lake Park, FL and three grandchildren, Shayne Reeg Malekovic and Troy & Tiffiney Reeg.
She was preceded in death by three sisters and one brother.
She graduated from LaPorte High School, LaPorte Business School and several art schools. She was a member of the Palm Beach Christ Fellowship, the American Legion and the Moose Lodge. She served as matron at the LaPorte County jail when her husband was sheriff. She had also managed the Ruth Sabin Home in LaPorte for several years and in Fort Lauderdale, FL, she had managed the Starlight Tower Condos.
