Juanita Turner, 79, of Hamilton Grove and formerly of 3980 S. 800 E., Fish Lake, died at 1:10 p.m. Monday, May 10, 2004 at LaPorte Hospital.
She had also formerly lived in Gary, IN and Zephyrhills, FL.
Juanita was born on May 22, 1924, in Whitesboro, TX to Robert A. & Charlotte (Fritz) Turner.
Survivors include her nieces, Betty J. (Lee) Shires of Michigan City, IN, Leanita Skeeter Scott of LaPorte and Doris J. (Donald) Cunningham of Fish Lake, IN; a nephew, Claude Payne of Biloxi, MS; special friend, Iona Smith of Hobart, IN; and several great- nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Florence Perkins, a brother, Robert B. Turner and special friend, Edith Howarth.
Cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held at a later date.
Juanita loved music and fishing.
